Heat 15 milliliters (one tablespoon) of sesame oil and chop 450 grams (1 pound) of tofu into two-centimeter cubes. Stir-fry these for two minutes or until golden brown and remove the tofu. Add one clove of minced garlic, or alternatively a teaspoon of minced fresh ginger, in the same pan along with one julienned carrot, 90 grams (1 cup) of thinly sliced cabbage and the stems of your favorite seasonal greens. Stir fry these for two minutes and then add in the leaves of your greens and sauté another two minutes until wilted. Combine all the ingredients and flavor with soy sauce. Serve on boiled or steamed grains such as rice, buckwheat, or sorghum. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top prior to serving and you have a beautiful vegan meal for family or friends.
